In certain situations, multiple doctors may need to perform procedures in the treatment plans you create for your patients. To avoid confusion, Medicasimple allows you to create treatment plans involving multiple doctors.
First, access the profile of the patient for whom you want to create a treatment plan. From this area, click the "Add Treatment Plan" button, select the doctor's name, and then start creating your treatment plan.
Your treatment plan is now opened under the name of the doctor you selected. You can also change this from within the treatment plan. When you click on the area with the doctor's name, a selectable field will appear where you can make changes according to the doctor's name.
Let's explain multi-doctor treatment planning with an example:
First, since we opened the treatment plan with Dr. Bennett, we started by creating the part related to her. The steps we follow up to this point are the same as for creating a standard treatment plan.
Now, we will add procedures for Dr. Fletcher into the same treatment plan. If we want to add treatment for another doctor, we first click the "Add Treatment Session" button at the bottom right of the page. The doctor’s name in the treatment item addition area that opens at the bottom will be the same as the doctor selected when creating the treatment plan.
As mentioned in the upper section, you can change the doctor performing the procedure by clicking on the doctor’s name. After completing the doctor selection, we can add treatment items for the procedures. By selecting the teeth and clicking on the treatment to be performed, it will now be added to our treatment plan.
