Changing the appointment duration may be necessary depending on the procedure and the doctor. Default appointment durations are set in the clinic settings. However, some procedures or patients may require more or less time than initially expected.
To update the appointment duration, click on the appointment in the calendar and delete the existing minute value in the "Duration" section. Then, enter the new duration.
Note: When changing the duration, a free slot may appear in the doctor's calendar, or the appointment may overlap with another appointment. In such cases, you can view conflicts by using the arrows above the area listing the available times and selecting "Choose a Suitable Time"
Another way to change the appointment duration is by clicking on the lower boundary of the appointment and using the drag method. After clicking, you can adjust the duration by dragging to the desired length. You can see a more detailed demonstration in the video below.
